IELTS Grammar

IELTS has become one of the most popular exams to move abroad. The IELTS exam is divided into 4 modules - Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking. But only practicing these is not enough. Before you start on with your module preparation, make sure you are good with these concepts of grammar.

Without these concepts, you won’t be able to score in the IELTS exam. These are really important to pass and get a good score in all the modules.

Grammar Topics to do:

  1. Nouns - Singular and Plural
  2. Sentence Formation and Structure (especially focus on how to start and end a sentence properly).
  3. Auxiliary verbs and their usage
  4. Use of prepositions
  5. Use of ‘to’ as infinitive
  6. Conjunctions and linking words
  7. Tenses (all forms)
  8. Passives
  9. Phrasal Verbs
  10. Punctuation (especially the use of commas)

Once you are smooth with all the above-mentioned topics, you can start your module-specific preparation. After learning these topics, you will find IELTS really easy. This is going to boost up your scores not only in writing and speaking but also, in reading and listening.

The best part is, it only takes 7-10 days to get on with these topics well. So, not much time is required for these. In the beginning, plan your initial days to cover up these.
